Masonry Block Layer
Position Summary:
A Masonry Block Layer (also known as a Concrete Mason or Block Mason) is responsible for laying concrete masonry units, including blocks and bricks, to construct walls, foundations, retaining structures, and other masonry systems. The role requires precision, physical stamina, and knowledge of masonry techniques and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Lay concrete blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials using mortar and hand tools
• Align blocks using levels, plumb bobs, string lines, and straightedges
• Mix and apply mortar, grout, or adhesive for block setting
• Cut or shape blocks using masonry saws or chisels
• Read blueprints, drawings, or layout plans to determine placement and dimensions
• Build corners, arches, and openings with structural integrity and accuracy
• Ensure proper spacing and joint finishing for appearance and strength
• Repair or replace damaged masonry work as needed
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of masonry tools, materials, and techniques
• Ability to work with precision and maintain consistent measurements
• Physical strength and endurance (lifting 50+ lbs)
• Understanding of construction math and layout methods
• Ability to follow blueprints and construction plans
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Class A CDL Triaxle Driver to operate triaxle
dump trucks for hauling equipment and materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, or demolition
debris to and from job sites. This role requires safe driving practices, timely deliveries, and the
ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a triaxle dump truck safely and efficiently under all weather and traffic
conditions.
• Haul and deliver construction materials to and from specified destinations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report issues as
needed.
• Maintain accurate records such as driver logs, trip sheets, and delivery documentation.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the truck.
Qualifications:
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of [1-3] years of recent driving experience, preferably with triaxle or dump
trucks.
• Clean driving record (MVR).
• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety regulations.
• Ability to drive manual transmissions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
